How to prepare your product for an AI film

Photos, packaging and references: a short checklist for representing your product more accurately.

How to prepare your product for an AI film

Collect clear product photos

Photograph the front, back and sides in even light. Add close-ups of essential details: the cap, texture and label. Keep the outline visible unless hands are part of the brief.

Define what must stay unchanged

Specify the name, colour, proportions, logo placement and packaging text. A short list of essential details is more reliable than expecting one small image to communicate everything.

Explain what the film needs to do

Introducing a brand, showing packaging and announcing a promotion need different stories. Choose one main message and one desired action after viewing.

References are a direction

Explain whether you like the lighting, camera movement, pace or mood in each reference. This helps create an original visual language.

Approve key frames

Review key images before animation. Shape and lettering issues are easier to spot at this stage. For factual product demonstrations, consider real filming or a hybrid approach.
